Profecund B contains the following ingredients:

• Zinc. It helps maintain normal fertility and reproduction and normal testosterone levels in the blood. It is a mineral found in every cell in the body and plays an essential role in promoting fertility of both sexes. Zinc deficient women may suffer from ovulation problems or even their absence. In men, the lack of zinc is associated with impotence and decreased sexual appetite. Also, a low level of zinc in your body can cause problems with testicular functioning. Lynside Forte Zn 100K, the ingredient in ProFecund B composition, contains a dry yeast, to which biologically active zinc is added. Through its zinc content, Lynside Forte Zn 100K acts positively on fertility and reproductive capacity, contributing to the normal functioning of the immune system, to normal DNA synthesis and to the process of cell division.
• Selenium. Selenium contributes to normal spermatogenesis and protects cells against oxidative stress, thus delaying the aging and destruction of cells. There are positive results in the use of selenium in problems related to male sexuality and fertility, research showing the increase of the spermatogenesis rate and the improvement of the sperm mobility. In order to obtain the expected effects, two forms of selenium are used in food supplements: organic and 100% mineral. Saccharomyces cerevisiae, the yeast from the Lynside® Forte Selenium 2000+ composition, selenium supplier from ProFecund B, grows in the presence of sodium selenite, which enriches this yeast with organic selenium, especially L-selenomethionine. This type of organic selenium has a bioavailability two times higher and is less toxic compared to the inorganic forms of selenium. It also maintains normal selenium levels in the body for a longer period of time.
• The oligomeric proanthocyanidins from the grape seed extract (Vitis vinifera) belong to the class of substances called flavonoids, compounds with a high antioxidant capacity. Medical studies have shown that proanthocyanidins provide excellent protection against free radicals. The grape seed extract has an ability to neutralize free radicals significantly better than vitamins C, E and beta-carotene, while improving the growth and viability of normal cells.
• Coenzyme Q10 is a substance with a role similar to vitamins, present in all cells of the body, especially those with very intense activity: heart, liver, brain. It is indispensable, due to the major role played in the biochemical processes of the cells of the body. It is involved in all energy producing processes and energy storage in cells. It also plays an important antioxidant role, by inactivating free radicals responsible for cell damage.
• Maca (Lepidium meyenii) is a plant cultivated for more than 2000 years in the central Andes region of Peru, at altitudes between 4000 and 4500 meters. Its roots have been used for centuries for nutrition and for increasing fertility in humans and pets. Maca is recognized, among other things, as having sexuality and fertility enhancement effects. Medical studies have confirmed that oral administration of Maca has significantly improved libido and sexual energy. It has also recently been shown that Maca improves spermatogenesis, both in terms of sperm count and their mobility.
